Argyle Brewing, Cambridge, New York

Omicron canceled a show in Brooklyn and one here in New Haven before I was even able to tell you all about them, but I am happy to say that I will be playing with my old pal Wes Brown on bass at Argyle Brewing in Cambridge, New York on February 19 from 7-9 p.m. If you're in the area, please come down and join us. In the meantime, here's a video of a newer song from a concert I did around this time last year for the Olde Church Acoustic Series in Meriden, CT. I hope you like it. And keep an eye out--there are more shows on the horizon!

Here's another video from our release show at Cafe Nine, New Haven. I will be playing at the Buttonwood Tree, 605 Main Street, Middletown, CT on Saturday, December 11 at 7 p.m. (This date is corrected from the earlier post.) Stay tuned for other upcoming dates, including at The Neverending Bookstore, New Haven at the end of January, 2022, a split bill with Ben Ross and Shula Weinstein.

 New Album is Out!

The video above is from our release show for the new album, "All Roads." For the last short set we took it to the streets. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it fun.

The album is now available on all the usual streaming and download sources (Spotify, Youtube, Amazon, Apple Music, etc.), but it benefits me more if you down load from the Bandcamp link above.

Our next show will be at The Buttonwood Tree, 605 Main Street Middletown, CT on Saturday, December 17, 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and a little more at the door. Other dates are on the horizon, including for NYC, Philadelphia, and Upstate New York, so please check back for updates!

"All Roads" album release October 17, 2021 at Cafe Nine, 250 State Street, New Haven!

I began recording this collection of songs at Craig Dreyer's Mighty Toad Studios with a collection of old friends when Obama was running for President--the first time. As we all know, lots of crazy things have happened in the meantime and I got sidetracked by other projects--Danny Fitzgerald and Georges Brassens and 19th century Middletown and a Nantucket commission. But the time has come to let these recordings see the light of day.

I will be playing with Ron Sunshine, Jerry Dugger, Neil Thomas, Andres Villamil and Scott Kessel. Our dear friend Homeboy Steve Antonakos played on most of the tracks, but he tragically left us in March of 2020, so my old pal Michael Cleary will be holding down the other guitar chair. And there WILL be special guests.

Blogger's new (non)functionality makes it impossible for me to update the calendar to the right of this post, so please stay tuned here and to my Joe Flood Music Facebook page for updates.
